## Description

Leidos is seeking an Application Tester for a technical development program of 200+ FTE supporting the Sponsor's Attribute/Entitlement Services within the IDAM/ICAM space. The Test Engineer will support the test of access control systems for a government customer. The successful candidate will support continuity of our customer's mission by helping ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of IT systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, develop, and maintain test plans for web, mobile, and API testing.

- Execute manual tests to identify defects and report them to the development team.

- Collaborate with developers and QA peers to identify test scenarios and automation opportunities.

- Contribute to test planning, case design, and documentation.

- Support the team with User acceptance teams to include roles, test scripts, reporting results and scheduling testing meetings with the UAT users.

- Familiar with agile methodology and continuous feature testing.

- Stay updated with emerging test automation tools and techniques.

**Required Qualifications**

- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 12+ years of experience.

- Software professional experience in QA with a focus on automation.

- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Katalon).

- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).

- Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).

- Understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

**Desired Qualifications**

- Automation Testing - Katalon experience.

- Good knowledge of SQL for database testing.

- Experience with version control (Git).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

**Pay Range:** $116,350.00 - $210,325.00
