## Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive our overall business strategy to grow Fuchs's presence in the Basic Metals industry throughout the U.S. You will report to our Director of Key Account and Business Development and will be tasked with driving new business development calling at the corporate level of accounts while working collaboratively with the Sales Directors, Sales Managers, Sales Engineers, Application Engineer, Product Manager; and other key team members to establish priorities and achieve objectives.

Responsibilities:

- Drive new business development calling at the corporate level of accounts

- Conducting ongoing market research to strengthen industry expertise

- Maintains and develops good working relationships with existing and new clients to enhance client retention and new sales

- Possess a strong understanding of our products, our competition in the industry and positioning

- Selling, marketing and promoting all products and services offered by the company within the basic metals industry segment

- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements

- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

- Demonstrating the benefits of the company’s product line to customers, ensuring the proper selection and application of product through on-site visits at steel mill facilities throughout the country

- Representing the company in industry events and trade shows and collaborating with Marketing and other internal stakeholders to prepare for such events

Travel

- Must be able to travel up to 75% throughout the U.S.
