## Description

We are seeking a skilled Market Street Butcher to join our team in Chester-le-street, County Durham.

Our fresh counters are a key part of what makes Market Street special. As a Butcher, you will prepare primals, deliver customer cuts, and serve top-quality British meat to our local shoppers.

In this role, you'll:

- Provide exceptional customer service, highlighting our fresh products and preparing custom cuts for in-store and online shoppers.

- Cut, bone, steak, dice, mince, season, and wrap meat primals to exact company specifications using specialist equipment.

- Maintain vibrant displays, keeping fresh meat counters and pre-packaged displays well-stocked, fresh, and attractive throughout the trading day.

- Work safely with specialist tools, upholding strict health, safety, and hygiene standards.

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Have experience as a trained butcher or working behind a counter

- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and confident using butchery equipment safely

- Enjoy helping people and be friendly and approachable

- Be willing to lend a helping hand across other Market Street fresh counters
