## Description

We are seeking a Young Director Intern to join our Youth Work team in Bexleyheath, London Borough of Bexley, Greater London, England.

The role involves working with young people, particularly those in care or leaving care, to promote their education, participation, and independence. You will provide administrative and practical support, facilitate activities, and work directly with children and young people in schools or colleges.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing support for enrichment activities, trips, and events

- Delivering direct support in education settings

- Offering advice, guidance, and mentoring to young people

- Recording data and creating reports on ICT systems

- Handling customer enquiries and taking notes

- Supporting delivery of processes and systems within the team

The ideal candidate is a Bexley Care Leaver between 18-25 years old, with good functional English, Maths, and IT skills. You should be flexible, able to work on a Monday afternoon, Tuesday evening, and Saturday morning, and willing to support key activities.

In return, we offer a competitive salary of GBP 15.75 per hour, coaching and mentoring programmes, an excellent pension scheme, and generous annual leave.

This is a 0-hours contract with an expectation of a minimum of 8 hours per week, offered for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension to 12 months.
