The Medical Director, Endocrinology will be responsible for establishing and implementing the medical affairs strategy for the Afirma/endocrinology franchise to advance the company's related genomic into clinical practice.

Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and tactical guidance across the indication/products

- Initiate, cultivate and manage relationships with key global opinion leaders

- Provide leadership in the development and execution of Veracyte's publication plan

- Participate in Veracyte's Product Development teams for the development of future products

- Represent Veracyte at scientific and medical professional organizational meetings

Requirements:

- PhD or MD degree

- At least 13 years of expertise in scientific and medical writing and presentations

- At least 10 years of clinical research experience

- Flexibility to travel up to 30% of the time

- Excellent communication skills

- Proven ability to successfully communicate, consult, collaborate and coach in a complex and competitive environment

The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience, skillset, geographic location, industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Pay range $300,000-$340,000 USD
