## Description

We are seeking an Instructional Design Editorial Assistant to join our Video Production department at LearnSmart. As an Instructional Design Editorial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our content is comprehensive and comprehensible.

You will be responsible for storyboarding scripts and study guides for each LearnSmart course. This involves creating an A/V script based on a preliminary teleprompter script, adding graphics, photos, and animation cues using Keynote. You will also need to re-work slides to ensure they meet company standards in terms of quality and purpose.

Your artistic instructional design skills will be essential in organizing and presenting content in a well-formed and globally standard-compliant manner. Additionally, you will be required to write short promo scripts derived from each course to be used as promotional marketing material.

As a member of the Editorial team, you will report to the Director of Courseware Development and deliver the A/V script for review upon completion.

Responsibilities include:

- Storyboarding scripts and study guides for each LearnSmart course

- Creating A/V scripts based on preliminary teleprompter scripts

- Adding graphics, photos, and animation cues using Keynote

- Re-working slides to meet company standards

- Writing short promo scripts for marketing purposes

Qualifications:

- Strong academic record

- 4-year degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in English, Writing, Instructional Design, or Communications

- Technical acumen in content management, editing, or system tools

- Basic knowledge of web navigation, research, and image manipulation
