## Description

Multimatic is seeking a Network Administrator to join their corporate IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing and supporting the organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), network segments or Internet segments.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing, designing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure 100% uptime of the global network infrastructure

- Recommending and providing solutions and recommendations on emerging network products, services, solutions and standards

- Installing new network hardware and software on a global level

- Configuring and maintaining network services, equipment and devices

- Managing core network system backup and restore protocols

- Monitoring network performance and suggesting/implementing performance tuning

- Managing Wi-Fi infrastructure and software

- Ensuring 24/7 network uptime for all WAN/LAN levels

- Providing root-cause analysis for all network related outage events that impact uptime

- Dealing with daily support tickets as well as long-term projects

The ideal candidate will have:

- A university degree or diploma in Computer Science or a closely related technical field

- 2-3 years of experience in a related field

- Cisco CCNA certification

- Minimum 3 years of working experience with Cisco & Fortinet Firewalls

- Experience performing firewall auditing and compliance monitoring using FireMon

- Minimum 3 years of working experience with Cisco IOS Switching

- Minimum 1 year's working experience with OT & IoT Systems

- Minimum 1 year of experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Azure Cloud networking

- Expert knowledge of Cisco and Fortinet WAN/LAN/WI-FI/VPN technology

- Working knowledge of VMware environment & Microsoft AD

- Knowledge of telephony technologies, specifically PRI and VOIP

- Experience in ticketing system usage and network monitoring tools

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be $57,658.00 - $107,000.00. The role requires onsite work with 15% travel to local Multimatic office/production locations.
