The Senior Technical Artist (Sr. TA) develops pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators across all of EA SPORTS. As part of a central team of Technical Artists, they partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions. The main areas of responsibilities include development of content production tools, pipelines, asset optimization/integration, and workflows.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators across all of EA SPORTS

- Partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions

- Assume ownership over technical issues that arise on projects and bring them to resolution

**Qualifications**

- At least 6+ years of cinematic/games production experience

- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field

- Effective at communicating with different audiences: artists, engineers, managers

- Proficient scripting/programming in Python or C#

- Experience with 2D/3D art packages such as Maya, Photoshop, Houdini

- A solutions-provider, especially as it pertains to testing and debugging technical issues

- Experience with asset optimization challenges/techniques

- A willingness to jump into the unknown and solve new problems to resolve technical challenges and limitations

**Compensation and Benefits**

- The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting

- Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors

- For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees
