We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer with a networking background to join the Networking Infrastructure team in Bengaluru, India. As one of the seed members of the Bangalore site, you will focus on building new backend connectivity services that power millions of VMs running on Databricks. You will also lead the design and development of new services that power the connectivity between our control plane and compute plane.

Responsibilities:

- Build new backend connectivity services that power millions of VMs running on Databricks

- Lead the design and development of new services that power the connectivity between our control plane and compute plane

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and other engineering teams

Requirements:

- 12+ years of production-level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or similar language

- 7+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch

- Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures

- Extensive experience working in the Networking domain
