## Description

WSP is seeking a Traffic Engineering Team Manager to lead their Las Vegas traffic group. You will engage in projects with the Pacific Northwest Traffic & Transportation Team, overseeing project delivery, staff development, and technical assistance.

Your Impact:

- Lead a local team of traffic design and operations professionals, providing mentoring and fostering development.

- Provide traffic engineering technical expertise on projects.

- Lead traffic-focused projects and tasks on multi-disciplinary projects.

- Leverage client relationships to cross-sell services.

- Engage in professional societies and conference programs.

- Collaborate with other traffic office and practice area leads for staff workload balance and work-sharing opportunities.

- Ensure engineering services lead the industry in professional standards, client requirements, budget controls, and quality control.

- Mentor staff to support their growth and professional development.

- Manage and provide performance guidance and leadership to assigned staff.

- Remain current in the latest traffic engineering techniques and practices.

Who You Are:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.

- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in traffic engineering and design.

- Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).

- Staff management and project management experience.

- Advanced proficiency with traffic engineering principles, practices, and software.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

- Tactical lateral thinking and strong analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree in Engineering.

- 4+ years supervisory experience.

- PTOE and PTP certifications.

- Proficiency with technical writing, spreadsheets, and Office suite.

- Experience with traffic operations and analysis software such as Synchro, Vissim, and Sidra.
