## Description

We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team at Ford Mexico. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for protecting our facilities, assets, and employees. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent any illegal or inappropriate actions.

The goal is to detect, deter, observe, and report.

Responsibilities:

- Protect company assets and employees by maintaining a safe and secure environment

- Monitor for signs of crime or disorder and investigate incidents

- Act legitimately in direct defence of life or property

- Ensure and remove offenders when necessary

- Take accurate notes of unusual events and report immediately

- Provide detailed reports of suspicious incidents

- Patrol the building and perimeter randomly or periodically

- Supervise and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

- Monitor alarm systems or video cameras and operate detection and emergency equipment

- Generate logs and reports

- Provide first aid or CPR

- Follow up on reports

- Operate detection systems and emergency equipment

- Observe and report new developments and anomalies

- Initial response to minor emergencies (use of extinguishers, basic assistance)

- Support drills

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a security guard or in a related role

- Availability to rotate shifts as needed

Technical Knowledge Required:

- Knowledge of audits and asset supervision

- Knowledge of access control and contractor control

- Knowledge of physical protection and security protocols and procedures

Key Certifications/Training:

- Basic security and surveillance courses (induction)

- Access control and person/vehicle registration

- Basic First Aid course

- Basic Firefighting course

- Basic Evacuation course
