## Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Soho House in Barcelona.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks, supporting planned preventative maintenance and reactive work orders, assisting with inspections of equipment and building systems, and helping with room and facility setups for meetings and events.

Key duties include:

- Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks such as painting, basic plumbing, light bulb changes, and furniture assembly

- Supporting planned preventative maintenance and reactive work orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor

- Assisting with inspections of equipment, fixtures, and building systems to identify issues early

- Helping with room and facility setups for meetings, events, or club functions

- Keeping maintenance tools, workspaces, and plant rooms clean, tidy, and safely stored

- Monitoring stock of essential maintenance supplies and reporting shortages

- Responding quickly and professionally to urgent repair requests or facility concerns

- Working closely with housekeeping and operations teams to ensure a well-maintained environment

- Following health and safety policies and safe working practices

We are looking for a reliable, friendly, and service-focused individual with up to 2 years of experience in a busy high-profile venue.

Requirements:

- Basic experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a similar support role

- Comfortable using tools and carrying out physical tasks

- Good attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and functional

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexible and willing to support different departments as needed

Desirable:

- Basic qualifications in building services, maintenance, or manual trades

- Experience in a hotel, club, or hospitality environment

- Familiarity with maintenance logs, task tracking, or work order systems
