## Description

Zscaler is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join its Federal team, focusing on NSA, CIA, FBI, and other three-letter agencies. This technical role involves architecting solutions that address critical customer pain points in mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker who can connect business outcomes with technical solutions. Responsibilities include:

- Translating complex enterprise requirements into Zero Trust solution architectures

- Leading Proof of Value engagements to demonstrate the Zscaler platform's simplicity and efficacy

- Cultivating technical champions by providing responsive technical counsel

- Sharing ownership of account development strategies with the Account Executive

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience

- 5-8 years as a Sales Engineer with a deep understanding of the Federal account landscape

- Proven track record of moving large-scale customers to modern, cloud-native Zero Trust security models

- Deep knowledge of network security, Zero Trust architecture, and SSE/SASE

Preferred qualifications include:

- AI fluency with experience leveraging coding assistants and Generative AI tools

- Cloud proficiency across multiple Cloud Service Providers

- Familiarity with Federal compliance frameworks like CMMC

- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, or PCNSA

The base salary range for this position is $154,875-$221,250 USD.
