## Description

The Measurement Analyst supports various functions within the Measurement Department, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and reliability of measurement data. This involves monitoring, reporting, investigating, and dispatching activities. The Analyst collaborates with internal teams to resolve communication and data quality issues, identify root causes, and enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.

**Major Job Responsibilities:**

**Functional Expertise:**

- Process data into asset tracking systems and review work exceptions

- Analyze and resolve meter data issues

- Monitor statistical sampling programs

- Investigate incomplete or missing data and collaborate with relevant parties to resolve issues

- Interact with multiple data sources across various systems and applications

- Fulfill ad hoc requests and gather, interpret, and format data for presentations

- Monitor, analyze, and report pipeline station data

- Confirm configuration of industrial meters across multiple systems

**Business Acumen:**

- Initiate activities supporting business needs and direction

- Evaluate and recommend process changes

- Provide analytical research and problem-solving to identify issues and root causes

- Utilize analytical skills to evaluate data accuracy

- Identify and evaluate system improvements

**Engagement:**

- Partner with management to review business processes and identify areas for improvement

- Conduct analysis, document findings, and communicate with business leaders

- Follow organizational policies and procedures

- Manage partnerships and relationships within and outside the Measurement department

**Driving Results:**

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work

- Troubleshoot operating issues with applications

- Manage multiple priorities

**Job Requirements:**

**Level 3:**

- Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience

- Experience: 3-5 years combined experience with utilities or related fields, 2-4 years analyzing data

- Preferred: 3+ years gas utility experience, 4-6 years analyzing operational data

- Skills: Intermediate knowledge of business processes, systems, and MS Word/Excel

- Specific Skills: Attention to detail, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, time management

**Level 4:**

- Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience

- Experience: 5-7 years combined experience with utilities or related fields, 3-5 years analyzing data

- Advanced knowledge of business processes, systems, and natural gas industry

- Preferred: 6-8 years analyzing operational data, team leading competencies, databases proficiency, Power BI Reporting Tool knowledge
