## Description

The Litter Patrol & Roadside Assistance Support Operator maintains the cleanliness and safety of the E-470 roadway by removing litter, debris, and small animal carcasses. They also support roadside assistance functions by aiding stranded motorists and performing temporary traffic control.

**Schedule:** Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm, with possible additional hours.

**Work Locations:** E-470 roadway from I-25 in the south to I-25 in the north, plus all intersection areas.

**Expected hourly rate:** $24.29 per hour.

**Responsibilities:**

- Collect litter, trash, and debris from the road ROW and transport them to central collection points.

- Remove small animal carcasses as needed.

- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain accurate paperwork.

- Perform physical labor including lifting up to 25 lbs., walking, stooping, bending, twisting, and working in all weather conditions.

- Provide roadside assistance services including tire changes, battery jumps, and providing fuel.

- Respond to crashes and incidents by assisting law enforcement and setting up emergency traffic control.

**Requirements:**

- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

- Must be at least 21 years old for vehicle operation.

- Valid, up-to-date State of Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in all weather conditions.

- Effective communication skills in English; Spanish a plus.
