## Description

Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Deputy Ward Manager with an active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council to join our team on the eating disorder ward.

As a Senior Nurse, you will lead and support the nursing team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care within a therapeutic environment. You will oversee clinical risks, promote equality and inclusion, ensure safe staffing, and maintain compliance with relevant legislation and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating shifts

- Delivering therapeutic interventions

- Supporting multidisciplinary working

- Supervising and developing colleagues

- Mentoring junior and student nurses

- Undertaking ward leadership duties

- Providing clinical supervision

- Deputising for the Ward Manager when required

- Contributing to staff recruitment and retention, promoting a positive culture of learning, professional development and continuous improvement.

## Skills

### Required
- Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council
- At least 18 Months – 2 years’ experience post-registration
- Demonstrable expertise within a clinical speciality

### Nice to have
- Experience in eating disorders
