## Description

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Türkiye is seeking experts in Immigration and Border Governance to support the implementation of current and prospective project activities. The goal is to create an expert roster for providing technical assistance, conducting research, and delivering trainings under various components including Border Controls, Readmission, Border Management Information Systems, Addressing Irregular Migration, and Regular Migration.

**Project Context and Scope:** Türkiye faces challenges with irregular migratory movements due to its geographical location. IOM Türkiye's Immigration and Border Governance (IBG) Unit has been working with Turkish authorities since 2014 to enhance border control and immigration management.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide technical assistance and conduct field and desk research

- Draft training curricula, strategy papers, and study visit reports

- Contribute to the elaboration and implementation of expert consultations, workshops, and conferences

- Deliver tailor-made trainings

**Qualifications:**

- University degree with at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in Immigration and Border Management

- Proven experience in at least one of the mentioned components

- Experience working with public institutions

- Excellent oral and written English skills; Turkish language skills advantageous

- Excellent drafting and presentation skills
