## Description

We are looking for a highly skilled solicitor to lead our EMEA Commercial legal team. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel, you will primarily interface with our Go-To-Market team to help ensure the fast, efficient execution of our agreements with customers, and you will also have exposure to product, privacy and competition issues.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the international multi-office Commercial legal function in the UK and EU, continuing to build a strong substantive, organisational and relationship foundation for the legal presence in the region

- Mentor and lead a high-functioning team (including managers) in the drafting, review, and negotiation Commercial AI SaaS contracts

- Hire others in the region as we expand

Requirements:

- UK or Dublin-based solicitor with 12+ years experience, both with the commercial or technology division of a leading private practice law firm, and subsequently in-house with a technology company supporting SaaS or technology Go-To-Market or Business Development teams

- Experience building and managing high-functioning teams

- Transactional background, including with technology and/or IP licensing commercial agreements

- Experience with government sales is a plus, as is working internationally with US-based leadership

- Ability to think creatively, function independently and work proactively in a fast-paced environment

- Team-focused and collaborative work style; willingness to build expertise and solve new challenges in an evolving practice

- Hyper-responsive and service-oriented attitude

- Bonus qualifications include experience with AI, and a love for solving hard problems with a small tight-knit team
