## Description

We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our team in India, working on Extra High Voltage (EHV) projects, specifically on substation designs including Air Insulated Substations (AIS) and Gas Insulated Substations (GIS).

The successful candidate will create detailed engineering drawings, prepare EC&I deliverables, and facilitate coordination across various departments.

Key responsibilities include:

- Creating detailed engineering drawings for EHV projects

- Preparing EC&I deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams and cable block diagrams

- Developing drawings to support detailed engineering

- Collaborating with clients and team members

- Adhering to company and client drafting standards

- Maintaining compliance with CDM Regulations and other legal requirements

- Enhancing processes, tools, and implementing new technologies

Requirements:

- Diploma in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline

- Experience with 2D and 3D software packages

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Self-motivated and eager learner

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working on UK projects

- Familiarity with 3D tools like Revit

- Experience in Onshore wind, Offshore wind, Renewable (solar), and BESS projects
