## Description

Cromwell Hospital in South West London is seeking a Resident Medical Officer to join the Adult Intensive Care Unit team.

The successful candidate will work 30 hours a week with a salary of £76,000 a year. Shifts include 08:00 to 20:00, 20:00 to 08:00, and 08:00 to 08:00.

As a Resident Medical Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Managing patients on the ICU in conjunction with the Intensive Care consultant

- Participating in ward rounds and clinical reviews

- Assessing direct referrals to the ICU

- Developing and updating administrative and clinical protocols

- Engaging in education programs and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements include:

- Good understanding of spoken and written English

- Broad training in Intensive Care Medicine

- Ability to manage acutely unwell patients and recognise dying patients

- Analytical skills and ability to work as part of a team

- Evidence of research interest and excellent written communication skills
