## Description

Clifton Park Hospital, located just outside York, is seeking a Private Patient Account Manager to lead and oversee a team of Private Patient Coordinators. The successful candidate will drive growth in insured and self-pay activity while ensuring an exceptional, seamless private patient journey.

Responsibilities include:

- Developing and delivering the hospital's private patient growth strategy

- Building and maintaining strong strategic relationships with consultants, insurers, and key stakeholders

- Analysing market trends, referral patterns, and competitor activity to identify opportunities for service development and expansion

- Leading and developing the Private Patient Coordinators team

- Working in partnership with the Business Relations Manager and central marketing teams to develop and implement initiatives that increase brand awareness and patient acquisition

- Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators

- Developing and overseeing a programme of business development, educational, and patient engagement events

- Driving continuous improvement of the private patient journey

- Providing strategic insight and recommendations to the Head of Operations

- Acting as the hospital lead for private patient services

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in private healthcare, healthcare operations, business development, or a commercial healthcare environment

- Demonstrable experience of developing and delivering growth strategies that increase Self-Pay and Private Medical Insurance (PMI) activity

- Experience of leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams

- Strong track record of building effective relationships with consultants, referrers, insurers, and other key stakeholders

- Experience of analysing performance data, conversion rates, market trends, and business metrics to inform strategic decision-making
