## Description

Zscaler is looking for a Senior Staff Software Development Engineer to join its team in Santa Clara, CA. The engineer will drive the evolution of the Client Connector Agent (CCA), a critical Windows client that provides secure connectivity, tunneling, and session management across enterprise and VDI environments.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement features across the CCA service, user-mode UI, and supporting subsystems

- Diagnose and fix complex production issues

- Improve reliability of long-running Windows service code

- Work on VDI-specific flows

- Review peers' code and mentor other engineers

Requirements:

- 8+ years of production software engineering experience with strong C++ expertise

- Solid grasp of Windows internals

- Experience debugging multithreaded C++

- Proficiency with diagnostic tools

- Track record of shipping and maintaining an enterprise desktop or endpoint product

Preferred Qualifications:

- Proven ability to leverage AI technologies

- Deep background in networking, VPN, ZTNA, or secure tunneling architectures

- Experience with RPC, named pipes, or COM

- Familiarity with VDI platforms

The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$225,000 USD.
