## Description

We are seeking a Retirement Plans Defined Contribution Specialist to develop, implement, deliver, and provide governance to employee retirement plans and benefits programmes. You will provide counsel to resolve any related issues and ensure compliance with internal governance standards and external regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement retirement plans and benefits programmes aligned with the organisation's strategy

- Ensure compliance with internal governance standards and external regulations

- Communicate and engage with employees and managers on retirement and benefit options

- Conduct market research and develop retirement and benefits strategy

- Manage external vendors and stakeholders

- Oversee cost elements and ensure forecasting, budgeting, and spend approvals

**Vice President Expectations:**

- Contribute to strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change

- Plan resources, budgets, and policies

- Manage and maintain policies and processes

- Deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures

**Requirements:**

- Experience working in a Defined Contribution pensions environment

- Detailed understanding of DC pension governance and regulatory requirements

- Supporting pension trustees, trustee subcommittees, senior boards or comparable governance groups

- Managing senior stakeholders and external professional advisers or service providers

- Written and verbal communication skills

- Recurring governance responsibilities, regulatory deliverables, and competing deadlines

- Sound judgement and the confidence to identify and escalate governance or delivery risks
