## Description

Synopsys software engineers are key enablers in the world of Electronic Design Automation (EDA), developing and maintaining software used in chip design, verification and manufacturing.

As a Site Reliability Associate, you will provide hands-on IT support for end users in the Hsinchu office, troubleshooting hardware, software, and workplace technology issues.

**Responsibilities**

- Provide hands-on IT support for end users in the Hsinchu office, troubleshooting hardware, software, and workplace technology issues

- Deploy, configure, and migrate laptops and workstations, managing the full device lifecycle from setup to decommission

- Support Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications, resolving access, configuration, and performance issues

- Manage IT asset inventory and tracking systems, ensuring accurate records of hardware and software across the site

- Diagnose and resolve technical issues using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis

- Collaborate with regional and global IT teams to escalate complex issues and align on support standards

- Maintain workplace technology including printers, conference room equipment, and office IT infrastructure

- Build trust with end users by delivering clear communication and reliable follow-up on every request

- Support global IT standards and processes by collaborating effectively across time zones and teams

- Help create a stable, responsive IT environment that lets people focus on their actual work

**Requirements**

- Experience in IT support, desktop support, or end user computing roles

- Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications

- Hands-on experience with laptop deployment, configuration, and hardware troubleshooting

- Familiarity with IT asset management and inventory tracking tools

- Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and workplace technology environments

- Ability to diagnose technical issues methodically and document troubleshooting steps clearly

- Fluency in Mandarin and English for supporting a bilingual user base
