## Description

As our first Industrial Designer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team working on complex workflows for software engineers developing autonomous machines and hardware. Your role will involve developing design themes for hardware concepts, building and iterating prototypes, and communicating design intent through various mediums.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing design themes for hardware concepts from sketch to production

- Building and iterating physical prototypes to inform product architecture with human factors in mind

- Working quickly to ship new features in 5-week release cycles

- Creating and communicating design intent through sketches, CAD, prototypes, CMF strategy, and design documentation

We're looking for someone with 6+ years of Industrial design experience, prototyping and developing hardware for software in fast-paced technical environments, and a keen sense of human factors.

Nice to have: prior startup experience, prior robotics, drone, or related experience.

Compensation includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
