## Description

We are seeking a patent attorney to join our team in Germany. As a patent attorney at Hogan Lovells, you will work predominantly in the area of patent litigation, including opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office and the German Patent and Trademark Office, nullity proceedings, and utility model cancellation proceedings. You will also support and participate in infringement proceedings. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work on cases before the Unified Patent Court.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct patent litigation proceedings, including drafting pleadings and participating in oral hearings

- Work on cases before the European Patent Office, primarily in English

- Collaborate with colleagues from other countries on cross-border cases

- Develop your skills through our individual training program, HLC Lead & Learn, which includes international training modules

Requirements:

- Qualified as a German or European patent attorney with a background in physics or electrical engineering

- Excellent scientific knowledge in your field, with a willingness to learn about adjacent areas

- Outstanding linguistic abilities in English and German
