## Description

We are seeking a high-calibre Full Stack Engineer to join our Hong Kong Structured Products Technology Team.

In this role, you will work within a team of 8 developers to build strategic Equity Derivatives trading infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

- Developing AI-enabled solutions with a focus on high-quality code and modern best practices

- Improving controls over Equity Derivatives trading and operations tools, potentially involving analysis and redesign of existing tools in Excel/VBA

- Managing end-to-end projects, including requirement gathering, development, UAT, deployment, and post-deployment support

- Collaborating with structuring and sales desks on local and global tactical and semi-strategic platforms

To be successful, you will need:

- Excellent AI-enabled development experience with OO or functional programming styles in Java and Kotlin

- A passion for driving the adoption of modern best practices, including test-driven development, DevOps, and agile methodologies

- Experience working in a complex global environment with a team of developers

- Ability to own the entire project cycle and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders

- Motivation to understand the Equity Derivatives business

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English

- Experience with equity derivatives products, either Derivative Pricing or Risk Management

- Knowledge of containerisation/orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes would be advantageous

- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB

- Up-to-date strategic skills in event-driven architecture and web services
