## Job Summary

As an Engineer - End User Computing at FCDO Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of technology services across the organisation. Based in the City of Westminster, this is a full-time, on-site position with a salary range of GBP 43,088 - 44,752 per year.

## Job Description

You will be part of the Digital and Data technology team, which provides cutting-edge solutions to support the UK government's data-driven future. Your primary focus will be on managing the product life cycle of service-raised incidents and requests, providing support and maintenance for end-user services, and ensuring minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing on-site support to end-users, resolving hardware and technical issues promptly

- Prioritising tasks based on business needs and dependencies

- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, as well as escalating faults to service desk, incident, and problem managers when necessary

- Configuring and installing secure managed devices to optimise performance

- Applying agreed methodologies, standards, and processes to inform decisions

- Managing secure disposal of equipment and reviewing technical and operational process documentation

## Requirements

- Agile and ITIL Foundation level experience or equivalent

- Microsoft Fundamentals role-based certification

- Level 3 Information Communication Technician or equivalent level 3 qualification in IT, Computer Science, or relevant experience

- Experience working with Windows 10/11, Microsoft365, and Apple iOS

- Strong technical understanding of hardware, operating systems, and software

- Significant experience in enterprise or secure environments

- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
