## Description

We are looking for a qualified Accounting Sr. Specialist to support North America consolidation, technical accounting, and financial reporting activities.

The successful candidate will prepare accurate financial statements analyses, consolidated journal entries, and process improvements, while promoting consistent and compliant reporting across NA Honda entities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Preparing and supporting NA financial close and consolidation activities

- Contributing to process, control, template, and reporting improvements

- Participating in projects to support department-level and business-level themes

- Assisting with audit, SOX compliance, and reporting requests

- Researching and applying the latest IT tools to revamp reporting and close processes

- Analyzing and applying IFRS and U.S. GAAP properly

The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- 8+ years of progressive accounting and financial compliance experience

- Strong knowledge of automotive, manufacturing, multi-entity, or consumer markets industry accounting

- Experience with financial close, consolidation, financial reporting, reconciliations, technical accounting research, or audit support

- Involvement in business and/or finance implementation projects

- Experience coordinating with business partners, auditors, affiliates, subsidiaries, or a global parent company
