## Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Kingston Hospital. As a flexible member of the Maintenance Team, you will work largely in an unsupervised capacity to deliver planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard on all plant, engineering systems, building structures, and services within the Hospital and associated buildings.

The main duties of the job include:

- Undertaking semi-skilled electrical maintenance repairs, such as replacing lamps, assisting with lift entrapment and release

- Performing semi-skilled electrical planned preventative maintenance, including fire alarm testing and testing emergency generators

- Carrying out semi-skilled plumbing maintenance repairs, such as unblocking drains and replacing toilet seats

- Painting tasks, including preparing walls and surfaces for painting

- Undertaking minor building trade repairs, such as replacing mastic to sinks and basins

The salary for this permanent, full-time role is £30,630 to £32,346 per annum.
