## Description

The starting pay range for this position per hour is $22.75 - $24.75, with a full pay range of $22.75 - $38.65 per hour.

As an Assets Protection Specialist at Target, you will play a crucial role in keeping guests, team members, and the brand secure. Your responsibilities will include:

- Using surveillance and intelligence-led tactics to prevent theft and shortage

- Monitoring guests and identifying potential theft risks using Target's video surveillance system

- Implementing Assets Protection practices and routines to reduce and prevent shortage

- Documenting cases properly and effectively

- Identifying strategic resolutions of external theft and fraud, and apprehension

A typical day will include:

- Creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience

- Greeting guests, helping them find what they need, and resolving issues

- Supporting team efforts and assisting peers in other areas

- Adjusting to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience

- Preventing and resolving theft, and promoting a physical security and safety culture

- Be open to working a flexible work schedule with varying hours, days, or shifts

Requirements include:

- Being at least 18 years of age or older

- Having a high school diploma or equivalent

- Meeting any state or local licensure and/or other legal requirements related to the position

- Having a welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

- Being able to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

- Having effective communication skills and being able to work both independently and with a team
