As a Senior Software and System Development Engineer I, you will develop, deploy, and support digital solutions that improve engineering efficiency, automate repetitive activities, enhance data-driven decision making, and reduce development lead time across the Interior Development Division.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and continuously improve digital tools using modern software development practices.

- Collaborate across multiple departments with engineers, technical leaders, digital transformation teams, and end users to identify opportunities, gather requirements, perform user acceptance testing, deploy solutions, and ensure successful adoption.

- Create technical documentation, support materials, training content, and user guides necessary for deployment, maintenance, and long-term sustainability of digital solutions.

- Lead or support digital tool projects by defining scope, maintaining schedules, coordinating activities, tracking progress, and communicating status to stakeholders.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve engineering processes, evaluate emerging technologies, and expand technical expertise through self-development, training, and industry best practices.

**Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:**

- A Bachelor's level degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Information Systems / Information Technology, Mechanical, Aerospace / Automotive Engineering; or equivalent combination of academics and relevant industry experience.

- At least 3 or more years of relevant industry experience.

- Scripting expertise in Python and JavaScript.

- Highly desired -- software development expertise in OOP (e.g., C++ / Java).

- Microsoft ecosystem: PowerApps (PowerBI, Power Automate), CoPilot Studio.

- Sharepoint Governance and Site Administration skills.

**Workstyle:**

- This is an onsite job. One remote workday per week may be possible with prior departmental approval.

- Travel requirements: ~ 10%.

- Overtime (0 ~ 5 hrs / workweek) or, as required.
