## Description

Visa's Value Added Service [Risk and Security] team is looking for a Software Engineer to design and develop services for customers in an agile environment. You will collaborate with colleagues to create leading-edge payment solutions, combining global payment processing, fraud management, payment security, and reporting systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Design, document, and implement new systems, enhancing and modifying existing software to comply with design specifications, security, and Java best practices.

- Develop application and infrastructure performance plans/models for a highly scalable, low-latency, highly-available, and high-throughput payment processing system.

- Work with architects and development teams to ensure proper metrics instrumentation for real-time and remote troubleshooting/performance monitoring.

- Utilize tools like Loadrunner/Jmeter, Appdynamics, dynatrace, OPNET, or other comparable tools.

- Evaluate, develop, and execute load test tools to stress the limits of Visa's critical payment applications.

- Understand and performance test APIs, abstractions, and integration patterns to solve challenging distributed computing problems.

- Define Performance Strategy and report performance baselines required to certify Go-Lives.

- Handle multiple tasks and stakeholders, documenting steps performed during performance tests cycles.

- Suggest optimization techniques by analyzing code.
