## Description

The Protection Case Worker will be responsible for implementing Comprehensive Protection Case Management for people at heightened risks. The Case Worker will be supervised by the Protection Senior Case Management Officer to ensure qualitative and effective case management.

**Responsibilities:**

- Conduct household visits and center-based interviews to assess client needs and develop action plans.

- Work with clients and families to identify choices and options, and involve them in decision-making.

- Assess risks and support clients and families to understand risks relevant to their situation.

- Link clients and families with support groups, networks, and community-based resources.

- Identify and receive referrals regarding clients and families with specific needs.

- Provide information to clients and families about their rights and entitlements.

- Ensure monitoring, review, and follow-up of services provided.

- Maintain complete and updated documentation related to each individual case.

- Determine if and when it is appropriate to discontinue follow-up to clients and families.

- Provide psychosocial counseling and support coordination of provision of services.

**Data Management and Reporting:**

- Manage, file, and store data, ensuring confidentiality.

- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly work plans.

- Support implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools and report on problems.

- Participate in weekly reporting and planning meetings.

**Coordination and Representation:**

- Contribute to maintenance of up-to-date service mapping of service providers.

- Receive cases referred from other agencies and provide feedback.

- Lobby on behalf of individuals and families to access services.

**Requirements:**

- 2-3 years of experience in case management.

- Experience working with refugee populations preferred.

- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment preferable.

- University degree in social work, psychology, or related field.

- Fluency in Arabic required, ability to communicate and write clearly in English.

- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) and reporting skills.
