## Description

We are seeking a Financial Tax Accountant to join our team in Frankfurt.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Taking charge of all internal tax matters, particularly in the areas of sales tax and payroll tax, including the tax-related internal control system

- Acting as the internal contact person for tax-related queries at the local and international level and processing them in consultation with superiors

- Assisting in the preparation of tax returns in collaboration with the tax consultant and other tax-related notifications

- Ensuring the proper tax treatment and documentation of all relevant transactions in day-to-day business

- Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and tax requirements

- Managing and accompanying tax audits and special VAT audits

- Collaborating on the analysis and optimisation of accounting and tax-related processes and their documentation

- Taking on special tasks in the accounting area, particularly the preparation of reports for the Federal Statistical Office

To be considered for this role, you should:

- Have a completed degree in business administration with a focus on taxes or a completed training as a tax assistant

- Have professional experience in comparable positions with a focus on taxes in internationally active companies

- Be enthusiastic, team-oriented and resilient

- Have good organisational and coordination skills and a hands-on mentality

- Possess a high level of analytical, goal-oriented thinking and approach, including a profound understanding of numbers and pronounced pragmatism

- Be familiar with MS Office applications, especially Excel

- Have very good written and oral communication skills in German and English
