## Description

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of large-scale technical projects and capabilities across the bank. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations throughout the software product lifecycle, ensuring timely, budgeted, and quality delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Manage the delivery, resource allocation, and improvement of complex technical project capabilities using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Collaborate with customers, business teams, software engineers, quality teams, and product managers to deliver high-quality products and features.

- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects.

- Manage change requests, communication with stakeholders, and vendor relations.

- Stay updated on industry technology trends and evaluate new approaches to improve delivery outcomes.

**Director Expectations:**

- Manage a business function, providing significant input to strategic initiatives.

- Lead a large team or sub-function, embedding a performance culture.

- Provide expert advice to senior management and committees.

- Manage resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function.

- Foster compliance and ensure regulations are observed.

**Additional Role Requirements:**

- Own technology strategy and roadmap alignment.

- Drive platform simplification, technical debt reduction, and operational stability.

- Establish and monitor delivery KPIs, productivity metrics, and financial outcomes.

- Manage dependencies across multiple programs and portfolios.

- Ensure regulatory, audit, cybersecurity, and operational risk requirements are embedded.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience leading large global technology organizations.

- Strong stakeholder management skills.

- Deep understanding of investment banking, markets technology, or regulated financial services.

- Demonstrated track record delivering complex transformation programs.

- Strong commercial acumen and exceptional communication skills.

**What Would Differentiate a Strong Candidate:**

- Deep knowledge of Emerging Markets Trading or Algorithm Platform Delivery.

- Experience leading platform modernization or legacy decommissioning programs.

- Experience applying AI/GenAI to software delivery or operational processes.

- Strong engineering background with credibility across architecture, software development, and cloud technologies.
