## Description

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead, develop, and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and onto construction.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment, supervising project teams in the production of feasibility studies, detail design, and construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and delivering highway engineering designs and construction drawings independently for various UK schemes using relevant standards

- Providing guidance and support to team members

- Ensuring projects are delivered to budget, programme, and technical standards

- Liaising with clients and discussing technical solutions

- Contributing to winning work through production of fees, scopes, and quality answers in response to client tenders

The ideal candidate will have:

- A bachelor's or post-graduate degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

- 6-12 years post-graduate experience in highway design

- Advanced level proficiency in relevant design software such as Civil 3D, Open Roads, MX, PDS/Key Line and Sign, AutoCAD, and ProjectWise

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Experience of work package management, resource management, and liaison with clients
