## Description

As an Electrical Engineer, Manufacturing Test within Battlespace Awareness, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems are tested to stringent standards, ensuring high-quality products are shipped to customers.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain ownership of test activities in production and ensure production test flow.

- Provide hands-on troubleshooting efforts and resolve complex electrical issues found during testing.

- Maintain test capabilities across the manufacturing value stream.

- Improve and sustain existing test systems to improve automation, consistency, total cycle time, and test coverage.

- Generate test work instructions and train technicians on equipment use.

- Develop a library of common failure modes with troubleshooting guides.

- Determine root cause of product failures and recommend corrective actions.

- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams.

- Analyze test data and provide detailed reports.

- Optimize test strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.

- Maintain and calibrate test equipment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, or related fields.

- 3+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on manufacturing test and product sustainment.

- Familiarity with Linux, Ubuntu.

- Experience with contract manufacturers in the testing of PCBA/electronic assemblies.

- Knowledge of PCBA testing standards and methods.

- Familiarity with electronics test equipment.

- Strong root cause analysis skills.

- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Familiarity with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES).

Preferred Qualifications:

- 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

- Pursuing a Master’s of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

- Familiarity with Python, LabVIEW, and/or MATLAB.

- Experience with test automation, PCBA design, and mechanical design.

- Experience with computer hardware communication protocols.

- Experience with ESS-related testing.

- Active Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
