## Description

We are seeking an Analytical Scientist I to support daily sample analysis activities while familiarising yourself with established laboratory procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

As an Analytical Scientist I, you will be responsible for:

- Processing and analysing biological samples

- Documenting analytical activities and participating in document verification

- Initiating analysis sequences using appropriate instruments and software

- Monitoring analytical results and contributing to identifying solutions to bioanalytical issues

- Participating in the safe disposal of chemical and biological waste generated by laboratory activities and contributing to laboratory equipment and instrument cleaning

- Performing various support tasks to meet laboratory user needs

- Carrying out all activities in accordance with applicable corporate and divisional policies, SOPs, and operational guidelines

To qualify, you will need:

- A Bachelor's degree or Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in a scientific field

- Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, and scientific analysis software

- Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and requirements

- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for Quebec positions, including the ability to understand simple messages and follow basic instructions in English

- Relevant certifications or equivalent qualifications will be considered
