## Description

We are seeking a PhD Research Intern to join our team in Milpitas, California. As a PhD Research Intern, you will investigate and explore emerging research areas, translating conceptual ideas into working prototypes or proofs of concept.

Responsibilities:

- Investigate and explore emerging research areas, translating conceptual ideas into working prototypes or proofs of concept.

- Assist in the design and implementation of research methodologies, data collection, and analysis.

- Develop and implement algorithms and models using techniques in areas like deep learning, natural language processing, and advanced analytics to develop innovative solutions.

- Partner with researchers, engineers, and product managers to align research initiatives with product vision.

- Clearly present research progress, findings, and technical insights to various stakeholders.

- Maintain detailed records of research procedures, methodologies, and outcomes, and prepare reports and presentations summarizing findings.

Education & Experience:

- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline. Relevant research, programming, data analysis, or applied project experience is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

- Strong academic background with a passion for research and a desire to contribute to the advancement of knowledge.

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a problem-solving mindset.

- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools, such as Python, R, or other specialized software and equipment as applicable to the field.

- Experience with data analysis tools and methodologies, including statistical analysis software.

- Time management skills and working with strict deadlines.

- A collaborative, solution-focused mindset and overall sense of urgency.
