## Description

We are seeking a Facilities Technician to join our team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will report to the Facilities Supervisor/Manager and play a key role in supporting the delivery of planned and reactive building fabric works across Trust sites.

The goal is to ensure the effective maintenance, appearance, safety, and running of high-quality care and support environments that are compliant, safe, and sustainable. As the focal point for several streams of work, you will liaise with in-house and outsourced organisations, customer groups, and improvement initiatives to drive this goal.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering small fabric works across the Trust

- Regular close liaison with teams working within the buildings and the Facilities Management team to capture and resolve fabric and small work operational issues

- Ensuring environments are safe, secure, and appropriate care environments

- Works within all properties used by the Trust

The ideal candidate will have:

- Level 3 vocational qualification (BTEC National Diploma, NVQ), or a recognised Trade Apprenticeship in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent experience in carpentry, decoration or fabric maintenance and/or facilities management

- Health and safety qualifications such as IOSH Working Safely

- Full driving licence

- Demonstrable experience in a maintenance role

- Experience of working with a diverse and time-driven customer base

- Customer service/delivery experience
