## Description

Reddit's Ads Creative Effectiveness team builds GenAI and predictive products to help advertisers create high-impact campaigns. We're seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in GenAI to develop best-in-class image, video, and copy generators that leverage Reddit's best practices.

**Responsibilities:**

- Design and implement advanced generative workflows for ad creative generation

- Develop end-to-end image and video editing capabilities for advertisers

- Fine-tune large vision-language models to understand winning ad aesthetics

- Engineer robust filtering and safety systems to prevent non-compliant content

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ACE capabilities into the Ad Manager UI and ad delivery path

**Requirements:**

- Deep expertise in machine learning, particularly LLM/VLM fine-tuning and RLHF/RLPF for ads

- Experience with uplift metrics, variance, and experimentation setups for generative systems

- Understanding of auction dynamics and advertiser pain points

- Strong communication skills to distill complex ML trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders

- Prior work on ad creative tooling is a plus
