## Description

We are seeking an empathetic and commercially minded Funeral Director to join our Co-op Funeralcare team in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for providing a caring and compassionate service to families in need. You will balance your time between managerial and business tasks, and building strong, trusting relationships with clients.

**Job Responsibilities:**

- Ensure client needs, service levels, and KPIs are met

- Be the main point of contact for clients, supporting and guiding them with the help of the wider team

- Support funerals, conducting ceremonies, leading the team, and carrying the deceased when necessary

- Refer regulated work, including funeral planning appointments, to a certified colleague

- Build and maintain relationships with the team, clients, and the community

**Requirements:**

- A commercial mindset and experience in a managerial role

- A true customer focus and a passion for delivering a great service

- The ability to capture intricate detail and ensure it is reflected in the service delivered

- Compassion, understanding, and empathy, with the ability to keep a cool head under pressure

- A UK manual driving license
