## Description

We are seeking a BIM Technician - Structures to join our Building Structures Team in India. You will provide CAD/BIM support to engineering projects, produce BIM models, and detailed engineering designs and construction drawings. You will report to the BIM Manager or Team Leader and be actively involved in several projects at any given time.

Responsibilities:

- Manage small, medium, and large-scale BIM Models for structures using Revit Structures

- Prepare design drawings for structures using AutoCAD

- Assist the BIM Manager in estimation and costing of CAD/BIM projects

- Assist in agreeing on project schedules and delivery programs

- Set up BIM models to project standards and liaise with Model Managers

- Liaise with project team members and clients

- Implement best practices and process improvements

- Upskill/train team members on new technologies

- Create work sets and work-sharing methodologies in Revit Models

- Resource planning for projects

- Flag resource concerns in advance

- Coordinate BIM models for Building Structures across disciplines

- Manage model federation, clash detection, and issue tracking

- Ensure BIM deliverables comply with project BEP and ISO 19650

- Liaise with design engineers, drafting teams, and external consultants

- Maintain model quality and support submission drawings extraction and validation

- Prepare RC detailing drawings and coordinate with BIM Coordinators and engineers

- Ensure compliance with client submission requirements

- Handle high-volume drawing production under tight schedules

- Perform quantity take-off and basic material scheduling

- Prepare detailed shop drawings for structural steel (optional)

- Develop fabrication and erection drawings in Tekla/Revit/AutoCAD (optional)

Key Competencies/Skills:

- Diploma/degree in Civil Engineering

- Experience with Revit Structures, Revit families, and AutoCAD

- 3+ years of experience in RC/steel detailing

- Good coordination and communication skills

- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit (Structure), Navisworks, and rebar detailing standards

- Experience in Building Structure and RC details for submission

- Experience in Steel Connection details (optional)

- Tekla Structures, CDE (optional)
