## Description

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our team in Production & Performance. As a Senior Consultant, you will support top-management clients in sustainable transformation and optimization of production systems along the entire value chain. Your tasks will include conducting complex consulting projects in the automotive industry with a focus on shopfloor excellence, operational performance, and efficiency improvement. You will also be responsible for conceiving and realizing factory structures, including layout, material flow, and production concepts. Additionally, you will be involved in end-to-end steering of industrialization projects, from planning to stable series launch.

Key responsibilities:

- Support top-management clients in sustainable transformation and optimization of production systems along the entire value chain

- Conduct complex consulting projects in the automotive industry with a focus on shopfloor excellence, operational performance, and efficiency improvement

- Conceive and realize factory structures, including layout, material flow, and production concepts

- Involved in end-to-end steering of industrialization projects, from planning to stable series launch

- Identify and implement effective factory cost reduction programs and establish sustainable, lean processes

- Analyze, design, and optimize production processes in the shopfloor (e.g., takt, line balance, throughput times, OEE)

- Develop practical and implementable solutions in close collaboration with operational departments of our clients

- Active contribution to the development of our competences in the areas of lean production, production strategy, and factory planning

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, economics)

- Relevant work experience in management consulting or industry in production environments

- Strong knowledge of production, industrialization, factory planning, or shopfloor optimization

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a team and lead projects

- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)

Preferred qualifications:

- Master's degree in a relevant field

- Experience in project management

- Knowledge of lean production and industry 4.0

- Certification in a relevant field (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean)
