## Description

The Laundry Assistant plays a vital role in the housekeeping team at Soho Farmhouse, ensuring all linen, towels, uniforms, and guest items are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards.

Key duties include:

- Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding linen, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry

- Operating laundry machinery safely and efficiently

- Inspecting items for stains or damage and treating or reporting them accordingly

- Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the laundry room

- Following correct procedures for handling guest laundry and dry-cleaning requests

- Ensuring stock of clean linen and uniforms is well maintained and distributed as required

- Monitoring the condition of linen, towels, and uniforms, reporting any items needing replacement

- Adhering to health & safety and hygiene standards, including safe use of cleaning chemicals

- Assisting with inventory counts and stock control of laundry supplies

The ideal candidate will have up to 2 years' experience in a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first-class service. They will be reliable, friendly, and happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.
