## Description

As Senior Manager, Total Rewards Operations, India, you'll lead a small team supporting GitLab's global benefits and compensation operations.

You'll translate global program priorities into dependable execution, strengthen operational controls, and make processes easier to run and support across regions and time zones.

**Responsibilities:**

- Oversee, coach, and develop the day-to-day responsibilities for the local Benefits Analyst and Senior Total Rewards Operations Analyst.

- Prioritize global benefits support and compensation operations work.

- Oversee compensation operations support, including market-data workflows and system transactions.

- Establish quality controls and review points to protect sensitive compensation and benefits information.

- Monitor deadlines, dependencies, service trends, and risks.

- Partner with global program owners to coordinate execution across geographies.

- Work with People Technology and system stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve data quality and workflow efficiency.

**Requirements:**

- Experience in Total Rewards, benefits, compensation operations, or a closely related People function in a global organization.

- Demonstrated people-management ability, including setting priorities and coaching team members.

- Record of delivering accurate work across multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and time zones.

- Clear written communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Sound judgment with confidential data and sensitive team member matters.

- Ability to use spreadsheets, human resources systems, and collaboration tools.

- Fluency in artificial intelligence tools and the ability to use them responsibly.

**About the team:** The Senior Total Rewards Operations Manager supports global total rewards programs, working with Payroll, Finance, People Operations, and other teams.
