Join the Ford Product Development team as a Thermal System Attribute Engineer.

## Responsibilities

Analyze test data to ensure vehicles exhibit expected behavior and pass requirements. Responsibilities include:

- Overall vehicle thermal system sign-off, including Wind Tunnel Testing and Road Development

- Collaborating with propulsion teams to develop key calibration parameters for Climate Control

- Working with Dual Automatic Temperature Control team on calibration development

- Ensuring components and sub-systems meet requirements for expected climate performance

- Troubleshooting performance issues and proposing solutions

- Understanding and applying Thermal/Cabin System CAE tools

- Coordinating vehicle testing to support Program Timing Milestones

- Planning and executing Vehicle Wind Tunnel testing and Supplier data analysis

- Planning and executing Vehicle Road Trip testing

- Implementing climate control comfort strategies in programs

- Domestic travel required up to 20%

## Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field

- 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation

- 3 years of experience with thermal systems hardware, data visualization, and collaborating with design engineers

- 2 years of experience translating design requirements into functional specifications

- 1 year of experience working with automotive climate system components and communicating technical topics to non-technical business partners

- 6 months of experience with data acquisition systems, developing detailed vehicle test plans, Wind Tunnel and Dynamometer Testing, and analyzing thermal and climate system test data
