## Description

As Canva scales, you'll be part of the Export team, focusing on rendering designs into files. You'll own the technical direction of the Chromium-based export pipeline, ensuring reliability and performance. Your tasks will include:

- Leading the team on complex rendering problems and production incidents

- Setting the direction for PDF accessibility and compliance

- Optimizing export reliability and performance for over 50 million weekly downloads

- Mentoring engineers and leading design reviews

You're a good fit if you have:

- Deep experience with Chromium or another browser rendering engine

- Strong Java backend engineering skills

- Background in rendering pipelines, graphics programming, or print production systems

- Experience owning a technical domain end-to-end

- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

- PDF specification knowledge

- Experience with accessibility standards

The Export team is part of the Editing Platform group, responsible for transforming designs into downloadable files.
