## Description

As a Medical Assistant II at Intermountain Health's Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Clinic, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team to provide quality patient care efficiently and cost effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing patient care under the direction of a clinician

- Effective communication with patients through various modalities

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality care

To qualify, you will need:

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or one year of Medical Assistant work experience, or a current active RN/LPN license in Utah

- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)

- Basic computer skills and professional manner with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred qualifications include:

- Experience in an outpatient clinic or healthcare setting

- Computer literacy in electronic medical records (EMR) systems

- National MA certification
